Season's Givings Blog Hop

Hello Friends and Happy New Year!
Welcome to this year's Seasons Givings Blog Hop. You should be arriving from my friend Lori Craig's blog.

First a big thank you to Latisha for always organizing this hop each new year. I also want to thank you, my readers, for taking the time to read and comment on my blog, Instagram and Facebook. I have not posted as much this year as I have in past years but I really do appreciate everyone who comes to visit whether that be on the blog or on social media. It is always encouraging to read your kind comments. The Seasons Givings Blog Hop is a way for us to give back and say thank you to our readers, so each stop on this hop has a giveaway so be sure to stop by each blog and leave a comment. The full list is at the bottom of this post.

Before I get to my giveaway I wanted to recap some of my favorite cards I have shared this year. Click on the numbers listed below the image to visit the blog post for each card.

Thank you for inspiring. What was my best moment(s) in 2019. I have to say our family potlucks in summer and Christmas. I had lived away from my family for many years. Getting to bring them together, under our roof, for a meal and visit, well that’s just priceless. Patti

Happy New Year! What gorgeous projects! The biggest thing, both happy and sad that happened in 2019 was the move from Finland to Ireland - bitter-sweet really. We had to leave many friends and dear places behind, but we got to get back to family and friends in Ireland! :-)

Happy New Year and many thanks for offering such a great prize. We lost a beloved dog two years ago and just before 2019 ended we had the opportunity to rescue a senior dog who really needed our love. She is a little darling and we are grateful to be able to give her a loving home. Cheers.

Loving your rainbow cards, so bright and happy! The most significant change for me has been a shuffling of positions at work, it hasn't been a happy change, but has really made me look at things and re-evaluate and make some decisions that I wouldn't have otherwise.

2019 was a really tough year for me with a lot of loss; my mom, identical twin grand-babies, my sweet little dog, and 3 other family members, so I am praying 2020 will be a kinder year, but no matter what, God is good.

Gorgeous cards - love the bright colours. I had lots of adventures in 2019 (visiting Helsinki, hiking in Alberta, 2 weeks in France, new puppy) but deciding to retire in 2020 is the most significant moment of the past year. Took me months to get to this decision but having made the mental leap, I know it's the right choice. I'm sure the next year will bring lots of new adventures too.

I know that she is at peace, and memories of her kind and faithful heart are a definite comfort to us all :).

What a beautiful collection of cards! The most significant thing that happened this year just happened. The pastor of our church for the past 30 years just retired. It is sad as he and his wife are moving away, but I think it will be a good thing as change just might be what we need.

The most significant thing in 2019 that happened to me is I lost my little brother, only sibling & we were exactly 2 years apart. So not only did I lose my only sibling, holidays will never be the same nor do I ever want to celebrate my birthday either. I lost my crafty spirit & I am trying very hard to craft again & bring some sort of joy & happiness to my heart. Sorry for the sad post, but thank you for asking what happened in 2019 that was significant to each of us. Such beautiful cards thanks for the inspiration & happy crafting!! 🙂🎨☀️

Your cards are lovely! Happy New Year!

2019 was challenging and also filled with blessings for me. The biggest event is that I retired after 34 wonderful years at a telecommunications company. The bittersweet part is that health issues were a major part of 2019 for me, and influenced me to retire when I did.

My most significant thing of 2019 was my grandmother becoming very ill at 93 years old. The positive is that we are spending more time together as I help my mother care for her but it is also a very sad time. I love your card #2!

2019 had some interesting times. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in 15 years (sad), but she was able to get the surgery done relatively quickly and is doing well now (happy). As for me, I lost my job on Dec. 31 due to the owner's retirement (sad), but now I can spend more time crafting (happy! happy!).
