Summer Watermelon Cards

Hello! Today I have a whole set of cards to share. I used the Rainy Backdrop die from Lawn Fawn in a new way. I thought that these dies looked just like watermelon seeds and would work perfectly to create these graphic watermelon themed cards. I have a video at the bottom of this post showing how I made all these cards.

My first card uses a mixture of Harold's ABCs stamps and Finley's ABCs dies to make a punny custom sentiment perfect for this watermelon themed card.

For the You're So Sweet card I used the scripty sweet die cut and added the beginning of the sentiment with Violet's ABCs.

My third card uses the outside in stitched speech bubble die with the sentiment cut out of it so the sentiment is created with the negative space.

And my last card has the scripty hello border die as the sentiment. I made all these cards using two backdrop cuts.

Check out the video to see just how these cards came together.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Stitched Cupcake + Tiny Gift Box Cat Add-On

Hello! It's the last day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week. Today I have two cards to share! My first card has features the new Stitched Cupcake die.

I used the sprinkles from I Scream, You Scream to add to the top of my Stitched Cupcake.  The custom sentiment is created with Smitty's ABCs in a Stitched Speech Bubble Stackable and used the Stitched Speech Bubble backdrop for the background.

My second project uses the Tiny Gift Box Cat Add-on die to make a card instead of a gift box.

I put my little orange kitty on the picket fence and used the gate to hide a little surprise.  The sentiment is from Critter Chatter and I used one of the bubbles from the speech bubble backrop for it to fit in.

I love that the "Translation: Hello" fit right behind the horizontal parts of the gate.

You can see how both thse cards came together as part of the intro videos for the stitched cupcake and the tiny gift box cat add-on. Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more projects.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Happy Summer Line Border

Hello! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week is almost over but it's not over just yet! Today we are featuring projects with the newest sentiment borders and I have a card with the Happy Summer line border.

This card uses a lot of dies to set the scene. I used the Sunrise Backdrop for the background, the simple wavy borders and the Tropical backdrop. I cut them all from white cardstock then colored them by inking the paper with distress inks.

I tucked the die cut Happy Summer sentiment behind the palm tress and trimmed of the excess and finished it off with some elements from On the Beach.  You can see how this card was created as part of the Happy Summer border intro video.  Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog for more projects.
