Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Ho-Ho-Holidays

Hello!
It's time again for Lawn Fawn Inspiration week! Today we are featuring Ho-Ho-Holidays.  I have a couple cards to share.

HoHoHolidays_ChariMoss1

I used the dark snowy pattern paper and inked the edges with pine needles distress ink.  For the bottom I used the village border cut from black cardstock.  I inked the top of the village with white ink using a blending brush and then added textured embossing powder to the tops of the houses for a snowy look. The sentiment is heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

My second card features lots of pattern paper from the Snow Day Remix collection.

HoHoHolidays_ChariMoss3

I kept it simple by creating a little scalloped rectangle panel from pattern papers with the outside in stitched scalloped rectangle stackables. I added the sentiment with white embossing powder onto a peacock cardstock sentiment banner and sprinkled some die cut mini snowflakes. I added a little glitter using the glitter marker for some sparkle.

STAMPtember Exclusive: Snow Bunnies

Hello!
It's that time of year about, time for Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember! And as always there is an exclusive Lawn Fawn set for STAMPtember that is only avaliable while quantities last. Introducing Snow Bunnies! (they are adorably cute!)

I made a flippin' awesome card with this new set and used the new River Rock ink to stamp out my images for a softer look to the bunnies.

These little bunnies met up in the snow and decided to make a snow rabbit together.

Autumn Apple Basket Pull-Tab Card

Hello!
It felt like fall here in Western NC this past weekend which really inspired me to make some autumn cards. I have also been wanting to make another doxie card since we had to say goodbye to our sweet Penny a few weeks ago. So today I have an autumn card with a sweet puppy pull-tab surprise.

ChariMoss_AppleBasketPup-1

My little scene combines stamps from a few different sets, Happy Howloween, Thanks A Bushel & Happy Harvest. I colored the images with colored pencils and modified the Let's Toast Pull-Tab to work with the little dachshund.

Lawn Fawn Release Week: Fortune Teller Tabby + Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On

Hello! I'm back today for Lawn Fawn Release week to share a couple projects using the new Circle Reveal Wheel add-on and the new Fortune Teller Tabby stamp set.

FortuneTellerTabby_ChariMoss2

I tried to make a fortune teller that wasn't too Halloweenie.  I used spiffy speckles paper for my background and added some inking to the edge to create a nice little shadow around the frame.

FortuneTellerTabby_ChariMoss1

I really love the teal tablecloth with moons and stars too and I added glitter accents to the table cloths as well as some metalic splatters to the background. I used purple watercolor wishes paper for the wheel to create a misty crystal ball.

My second card uses the circle reveal wheel add on paired with some of the new fall fling papers.

CircleRevealWheelAddOn_ChariMoss2

Although the circle reveal wheel add-on works perfectly with the tabby cat, it makes a fun new opening on it's own as well.  It comes with two different frames. I used the scalloped frame.

I used the tree from the Tree Before 'n Afters paired with one of the Spooky Village houses to create a fall scene.

Lawn Fawn Release Week: Flippin' Awesome

Hello! Welcome back for day two of Lawn Fawn Release week.  Today we are featuring the new Flippin' Awesome die which is of course... Flippin' Awesome!

YetiOrNot_FlippinAwesome_ChariMoss2

This fun card has Mr. Yeti attempting some snowboarding tricks and failing miserably, maybe he shouldn't snowboard and eat popsciles at the same time.  The idea is based on real life events but I will save that story for another time...and possibly a video showing how this card came together. :)

Lawn Fawn Release Week: Spooky Village

Hello!
Welcome to Lawn Fawn Fall/Winter Release week! The only thing just as good as the fall season is new fall stamps! Today we are featuring the newest in the village series of stamps, Spooky Village. I think this little set is so cute and I have lots of Spooky Village cards to share with you today.

SpookyVillage_ChariMoss3

My first card was super fun to create. I used the Peek-a-boo backdrop along with some of the fun doors that open to create this fun comic book style card.

SpookyVillage_ChariMoss4

I used distress oxides to create night time skies and changed up the colors behind the flaps for a fun surprise.

SpookyVillage_ChariMoss6

My second card is much more simple, using just one house.  I die cut the background using the stitched speech bubble backdrop and added a spot of watercolor behind my house.

SpookyVillage_ChariMoss1

I white embossed the greeting onto a black strip cut with the grassy border die which I think add some fun detail.

SpookyVillage_ChariMoss2

My third card is inspired by Yainea.  I used her ideas of using the birch trees and creating a teal sky with a glowy moon to create this card.  You can see how this card came together as part of the Spooky Village intro video

SpookyVillage_Yainea_ChariMoss1

I really love the sky and that giant moon. I colored the houses using a special trick I came up with. I colored each one with a light color then went over it with a warm grey to give the dark spooky look.

SpookyVillage_Yainea_ChariMoss2

My final card uses the new Four Square Portrait to create four little spooky scenes.  This is a fun die that leaves a space at the bottom for a sentiment.

SpookyVillage_ChariMoss7

I used the new Happy Halloween line border die for the sentiment and cut it out of orange glitter cardstock from the Autumn Sparkle Cardstock pack.
