Lawn Fawn August Inspiration + Release Week: Double Slider Surprise

Hello! Welcome back for another day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today we are featuring the new Double Slider Surprise die! These cards were so much fun to make.

My first cards today is a double slider made with the new Winter Skies stamp set.

When you pull the tab at the bottom the sentiment appears on the bottom and then Santa appears in the sky above. I inked the front panel as well as the top card to look like a night sky.  The whole assembly is mounted onto a card base made from new white woodgrain cardstock.  The snowy ground is cut from the new sparkle cardstock in pixie dust.

The second card I have to share uses the new Thanks a Latte set on a double slider surprise card.

I used two different colored cards that slide out, to coordinate with the sentiments I used.  Whtie for marshmallows and cream for the coffee cream sentiment.

I used the gingham backdrop stamp to create a plaid cloth for my cute little coffee cups to sit on.

I layered the whole assembly pocket over a scalloped rectangle for a little more detail and to bring in the pink of the coffee cup.

If you missed yesterday's post I have a Halloween Double Slider Surprise using Pick of the Patch as well!  Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more Double Slider projects!
