Lawn Fawn August Inspiration + Release Week: Pick of the Patch + Reveal Wheel Add-on + Spooky Fence

Hello! It's Lawn Fawn Inspiration and Release week so I hope you are ready for some fall & halloween inspiration because this week will be full of it!  I've been emersed in fall/winter projects for over a month now so I'm ready for the weather to turn cooler and head into my favorite time of year.  Today we are featuring the new stamp set Pick of the Patch as well as a fun reveal wheel add-on that coordinates with it and the new spooky fence border die.  I have a lot of project to share today so let's get right to it.

My first card uses the new double slider surprise die (which will be featured in tomorrow's Lawn Fawn blog post).  I will be doing a video for this card in the coming weeks so stay tuned for that.

I inked a spooky sky on the main pocket panel as well as the slide out cards which I think looks really great with the bright orange pumpkins and black spooky fence.

I also did some tone on tone stamping with the starry backdrop stamp on the card base to coordinate with my night time scene and added flecks of metallic watercolor for some fun extra detail.

My second card today was inspired by my fellow Lawn Fawn Design team memenber Audrey.  I took her idea and created a reveal wheel card with the new pick of the patch reveal wheel add-on window.

Thank Audrey for letting me use your card for inspiration.  The sky is inked with Distress oxides on a swirly stitched backdrop piece.  The wheel lets the face of the pumpkin change for a fun interactive element.

My second Pick of the Patch Reveal Wheel card is a bit more simple.  It uses the new Square Reveal Wheel set with the pumpkin cut out to change the faces.  I layered different square die cut pieces of cardstock for the background, with a stiched woodgrain die cut piece on the top.  I inked the edges of the top layer with some hickory smoke distress ink to give it a spooky look.

The sentiment is white embossed on black cardstock and popped up off the front of the card to really stand out.

My final card has another oxide inked sky, this time spritzed with lots of water to get the texture.  I paired the spooky fence with the landscape leafy tree backdrop to set the scene.

My pumpkins on this card are white embossed on orange cardstock so no color is required.  I use colored pencil to color in the stems at the top and stamped the sentiment and swirly vines of the pumpkins directly onto the background.  I finished off with some gold stamped stars.

Whew, that was a lot of cards! But there is even more inspiration using Pick of the Patch, spooky fence and the reveal wheel add-on over on the Lawn Fawn Blog.
