Get Cracking On Christmas: Santa Reveal Wheel

Hello! It's the third Thursday of the month, time to Get Cracking on Christmas! The idea behind this little challenge is to create a Holiday card once a month all year long since the holidays are always so hectic and we never seem to get many Christmas cards made.  Today I'm joining my friends Jenn, Cherion, and Libby and to share some holiday inspiration.

CrackinOnChristmas-May1

I used the new Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel die to create a fun card with Santa flying through the sky! How fun! I embossed the Santa and his reindeer from the Lawn Fawn's Ready Set Snow stamp set onto the wheel prior to inking with distress inks.

I created the night sky with distress oxides in blueprint sketch, wilted violet and picked raspberry.  I also added flecks of white gold watercolor for a snow effect. The snowy ground is cut from white glitter cardstock and I used houses from Lawn Fawn's Winter Village.

If you would like to join us for our month holiday crafting challenge please share your creations along with the hashtag #getcrackingonchristmas so we can see your creations! Be sure to visit JennCherion, and Libby as well!

  4. Beautiful background, Chari. Distress Oxides are so versatile. The Santa and sleigh is just perfect for your reveal wheel; so clever. Thanks for sharing.
