Ellen Hutson 11th Anniversary Blog Hop

Hello! Today I'm happy to be joining some other fabulous designers to celebrate Ellen Hutson's 11th Anniversary! You should be arriving from Michele's blog, but if not you can start at the beginning of today's hop in the CLASSroom. On this hop we are featuring our favorite Essentials by Ellen sets.  I wanted to use the cute little deer from the Oh Deer set along with some images from Wonky Backdrops.

I stamped the deer with staz-on ink onto brown wool felt from Taylored Expressions and used the coordinating dies to cut the felt. I backed the felt cut outs with die cut cardstock for more stability.  I stamped the starry wonky background in two ink colors to create a sky and set the scene. I stamped the line that looks like grass in copper Delicata ink and used Doe ink for the sentiment.

The next stop on the hop is Ardyth Percy-Robb. Be sure to check out the hop all week long!

Fawny Holiday Week: Advent Christmas Tree Calendar

Hello! It's that time of year again, it's Fawny Holiday Week with Lawn Fawn! This week the Design Team is sharing holiday projects along with members of the Lawn Fawnatics Design Team and Lawn Fawn Headquarters Team.

Today I'm sharing how to create a Christmas Tree Advent Calendar using the gift box die.

Here is a close up.  Unlike the same project I made a couple months ago this project uses all die cuts for the numbers rather than stamping.  I just wanted to show a different option for how to decorate the boxes.

Check out the video tutorial below to see exactly how to construct this advent tree project. You can watch the video below or check it out HERE on my YouTube channel.

Also be sure and visit the Lawn Fawn Blog all week long for more holiday project inspiration!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

It's that time of year again, time for Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags and today's featured company is of course Lawn Fawn.

I used Winter Alpaca along with the Knit Picky collection to create this tag.  I used the stitched tags and the winter tiny tags dies for the main part of the tag and the snowflake inside. My little alpaca is colored with copic markers. I added little die cut heart to the snowflake and tied used some peppermint twine for the bow and red sparkle twine for the top.

Be sure to visit Tracey's blog to see all of the tags contributed to the 25 days of Christmas Tags!
