Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: You're Clawsome + Outside-In Stitched Stackables

Hello!
Today for Lawn Fawn Release week we are introducing the set You're Clawsome as well as the new Outside-In Stitched Stackable dies.

This set is unique and clever and there are lots of interactive cards that you can make with it but I wanted to show it with just some stamping.  I stamped everything on Bristol paper and colored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and water for a watercolor look.  For the backgound I put down some small star masks and blended Scattered Straw distress ink concentrating it where my little unicorn would sit and allowing it to be softer near the edges.  I really like the subtle look of the masked stars.

Basically I figure these toys come to life when we aren't looking just like in Toy Story and the little unicorn, being unique and "one of a kind" decided to escape the claw machine. :) I die cut the edge of the machine with the same dotted rectangle die I used for the background piece so that it would look like it was out of the frame but the detail would remain.  Just an added detail that you don't get if you just trim off the excess with scissors. I also used the largest of the new Outside-In Stitched rectangle to create a thin mat behind my yellow panel before mounding it onto a Ballet Slippers cardstock card base.

My second card today uses the Outside-In Stitched Square stackable dies.  I cut these squares before snipping my dies apart to get a perfect inlay of my squares but if the dies are already separated you could of course hold them all together with long pieces of tape.  I cut my squares from Chili Pepper, Raspberry, Guava & Ballet Slipper cardstock.

The sentiment is stamped onto the acetate on the front of my shaker and completed with a die cut scripty happy from black glitter paper.  I filled the inside with a shaker mix from Little Things from Lucy's cards with some added clear beads.

Thanks for stopping by today! Check out the Lawn Fawn Blog for more projects!
