Happy STAMPtember!

Hello Friends!
Yes that's right it's that time of year again, it's Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember! A month full of special product releases and stampy goodness! :)

Today I have three cards to share that all use the new You Matter Background stamp.  This is definitely a One stamp, Three ways kind of post.

For this first card I inked up the background stamp with distress inks in a rainbow of colors.  I used candied apple, spiced marmalde, mustard seed, twisted citron & salty ocean.  I spritzed it with some glimmer mist then stamped it onto white cardstock.  It is hard to see the shimmer but there is a very fine shimmer to the whole stamped image.

I die cut a rectangular panel and mounted it with foam tape on a white card base.  I added a sentiment with a strip of purple card stock and the Painted Faith die cut.  I added a layer of glitter and glossy accents on the die cut and hearts.

This second background is embossed on Distress Watercolor card stock using WOW embossing powder in Cha Cha Cha which has some sparkle.  Then I used the same distress ink colors to blend over top of the embossing creating an emboss resist effect.

I die cut a white circle and then heat embossed the sentiment from Big Scripty Greetings.  Finally I added some black enamel accents.

For my third card I went ahead and inked up the distress card stock with the distress inks in the same colors.  Then I spritzed the un-inked background stamp with glimmer mist then stamped it on the blended background creating a subtle image in the background. I flicked some water droplets on the background as well for more distressing.

I die cut a Stitched Rectangle Frame and some hearts from black card stock and added a sentiment also from Big Scripty Greetings. The hearts have glitter and glossy accents as well.

I only got to play with this fabulous background stamp but I know there are lots of great products being released as part of the STAMPtember celebration.  I'm looking forward to seeing what all Simon Says Stamp has in store for this month.

Thanks for stopping by today!

I love how unique each of these 3 cards are even though you used the same background stamp and pretty much the same color palette! LOVE!!!
