Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Sweet Smiles

Hello!
I'm back with another post for Lawn Fawn Inspiration week and today I'm using a super fun set from the latest release, Sweet Smiles.

SweetSmiles_ChariMoss1

I couldn't resist the urge to make this fun gumball machine into a shaker card. I cut out the inside of globe carefully with a craft knife. I used the coordinating die to cut out the image as well as to cut out a negative space in the aqua card stock.  This allowed me to inlay the image which I think has a cool finished look to it.

for the gumballs I simply stamped 5 of them out and added the faces of my choosing.  Then used the matching die to cut them out and add them to the inside of the gumball machine.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Scripty Congrats & Thinking of You Border Dies

Hello!
Lawn Fawn June Inspiration week continues and today we are sharing projects with two new word dies, scripty congrats and the thinking about you border die.

ScriptyCongrats_ChariMoss1

The scripty congrats is perfect for a bold graduation or wedding card.  For my card I cut it from a piece of card stock I had put some Stick It on and then added glitter to really make it catch the eye.  I used the stitched rectangle dies to create the frame and stamped the sentiment across the frame with a light blue ink. I also stamped grad hats in a yellow ink on the background inside the shaker.

I colored the fox and grad cap with copics and cut them out with coordinating dies.  The shaker is filled with Pretty Pink Posh silver stars and yellow star glitter.

For this card I pulled out a rainbow of card stock and cut the Thinking About You border die from each of them, then I layered them back together to create three layers of sentiments.  The top of the card was a little bare so I stampted out some of the confetti images from the Party Animal set with some matching Lawn Fawn inks in mermaid, sunflower, celery stick and wild rose.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Here's the Scoop dies

Hello! Lawn Fawn June Inspiration week continues and today I'm playing with some new dies for an older set, Here's The Scoop! I'm so glad there are some matching dies for this yummy set now, it makes it so easy to cut out the little ice cream images.

I colored the images with copic markers and used the new dies to cut them out.  I also used some papers from the Let's Polka Mon Amie collection for my card base since to me the look like ice cream. :)

I stamped the sentiment from Milk & Cookies in Walnut ink to coordinate with the chocolate in the images and of course added some hot cocoa lawn trimmings twine to finish it off.  Pop on over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see more projects with new dies for older sets including Here's the Scoop as well as Happy Summer, Make Lemonade, Silly Valentine and Love n' Breakfast.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Owen's ABCs

Hi friends! I'm back again for another post for Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week.  Today we are playing with the newest ABC set, Owen's ABCs.  I think this set is fun and a little different as far as alpha's go.  So I made a slightly different project.

OwensABCs_ChariMoss1

All my herb markers seem to be different and I can never find all the names I want so I thought I would make some of my own.  These are easy to make using some large craft sticks.  I found mine at Michaels and panted them all with a grey chalkboard paint as a base.

These letters are on square bases just like all other Lawn Fawn alphas but since they are all the same width it is very easy to line them up vertically too.  I stamped each word in Versamark ink and then used different colors of embossing powder.  Be sure to heat the powder evenly and move the heat gun around so that no one place gets too hot to avoid warping or overheating of the wood.
