Lawn Fawn Fall & Winter Sneak Week: Day 3

Have you been enjoying the peeks of all the new Lawn Fawn goodies on the Lawn Fawn Blog? Today there are more sneak peeks of winter and holiday sets! I made a bunch of cards with the new stamps and they are shared on the Lawn Fawn Blog, but I just wanted to share one with you today.  I will share the others at a later date here on my blog.

Today's card uses the new Baaah Humbug set.  Who doesn't love some puffy sheep right?

I think this set is just adorable and like that it could be used all year long when paired with other sentiments.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog today for more peeks at the new release coming at the end of August! Thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn Fall & Winter Sneak Week: Day 2

Hello! Welcome to day 2 of Lawn Fawn Fall & Winter Sneak Week.  Today's post shared lots of new fun stand alone dies coming soon, including new scalloped rectangle stackables that coordinate with the stitched rectangle stackables!  Here is a quick little card I made showing this new die shape along with the new Holiday Party Animal set!

So happy to have new scallops to layer behind the stitched rectangles.  They add a fabulous extra detail to projects.

If you haven't already, check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see all the new dies coming soon.  Another favorite of mine is the Pillow box die and the Pillow box add-ons!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Lawn Fawn Fall & Winter Sneak Week: Day 1

Hello! It's Sneak Peek Week for the 2015 Fall & Winter Lawn Fawn products. You can check out all the news and product peeks over on the Lawn Fawn blog all week long.  Today one of the new sets we are introducing is Happy Harvest.  The little scarecrow in this set makes me extremely happy, perhaps it is his happy smile or maybe my love of fall.  Either way I created a card with this set that might be one of my top personal favorites of cards I have created.  I was just thrilled how it turned out!

This little guy was so fun to color with copics and I just love the cool look of the grass die with the yellow colors, really looks like harvest time to me!

Be sure and check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more peeks of new sets.  I have a couple other cards over there that I will share at a later date here on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

Creative Chick 10th Blogiversary Celebration!

Today I'm joining the party and helping my friend Jenn Shurkus celebrate her 10th Blogiversary! I hope one day I will make it to 10 years, what an accomplishment! You can check out the celebration she has going on over on her blog HERE. I am joining the party by CASEing one of Jenn's cards from her blog. I picked a trio of clean and simple one layer cards to CASE. You can check out Jenn's cards HERE.  And here is my take on them.

I of course seem to incapable of just sticking to a one layer card so for mine I just embraced the white space and focused on one image with a bold sentiment.  I used the new Party Animals and Owen's ABCs to create this cute card.

Now it's your turn to join in the celebration.  Jenn has some prizes to give away and all you have to do is play along by CASEing one of her projects and then linking up your creation on her blog HERE.  You have until August 4th to create a project and participate.  Winners will be announced on August 7th. Happy Creating and Happy Blogiversary Jenn!

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Color My World

Today is my last post of Lawn Fawn Inspiration week. Today I have a card using Color My World.  This set to me begs to be colored in rainbow colors, probably because I just think of crayons in a box of every color in the rainbow.

I stamped all my crayons in archival ink on watercolor paper and used faces from the Sweet Smiles set to add a little more character to them.  I colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens, blending them with water for the watercolor effect.  I then used the coordinating die to cut out all my crayons and arrange them in a circle.

For the sentiment I used the word bubble die from the 4x6 stitched journaling card set and used my MISTI tool to line up the stamp.  This allowed me to easily stamp in the same spot every time which made it much easier to mask and ink up each of the 6 colors used on the sentiment.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more design team projects using this mini set as well as the new Treat Yourself mini set. Thanks for stopping by!
