Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Fintastic Friends + New Inks

Hello! Today is the last day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! All the new summer release products will be available tomorrow June 4th! Today we are featuring the new set Fintasitc Friends and new INK! Yes that's right... 5 new ink colors!

For my Fintastic Friends card I used Pint Sized Patterns Beachside papers and stamped out the little goldfish in the fishbowl and colored him with copics.

I used the ocean waves border die to cut the paper at the bottom for my sentiment when is stamped in Deep Sea ink to match the navy paper background.

For my second card I used the new inks along with a couple older ink colors and some masking to create these fun waves.  I cut a strip of post it note tape with the ocean waves border to use for a mask. Then I used an ink blending tool to apply my ink colors starting with at the bottom with Fish Tank then working my way up the card with Peacock, Freshly Cut Grass, Mermaid then Celery Stick at the top. I did overlap the colors and it created a cool shadowy effect that I think gives the water some depth even though it is all one layer.

I cut one of the puffy cloud borders from white and added that to my horizon line behind the waves.  The boat is stamped with Juice Box and the little flag is stamped with Lobster ink.  The very back panel is blended with Sunflower and just a bit of Fake Tan ink.  I stamped the sentiment from Year Two in black.

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for an introduction to these new ink colors and giveaways as well.  All new products will be available starting tomorrow June 4th!
