Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve! Today I have one last holiday card to share before Christmas.

For this card I used the Trim A Tree stamps and coordinating dies along with papers from the October Afternoon Holiday Style collection.  I cut the background paper with the stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn and inked the edges with antique linen distress ink.

I added rose gold stickles to the star and candles and used Christmas Red stickles to the tree for some glittery ornaments.  The sentiment is from Joy to the Woods, I just love the font of this particular sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!

Do you want to Build a Snowman?

Today I have another holiday snowman card to share.  This card has a fun snowman created with Simon Says Stamp Build a Snowman set.

I love that this stamp set has coordinating dies making it easy to cut out the pieces to build the snowman with. I used the forest border die and the matching stitched hillside die from Lawn fawn to create my scene for my snowy friend.

I added some stardust stickles to the snowman's accessories like frost or snow settled on them.  I also added some tuxedo black pico embellisher for his eyes to make them shine.

Frosty Holiday Friends

Today I have a Frosty card to share. They are calling for some snow today, fingers crossed it doesn't though because we of course have holiday things to do. So maybe we can keep the snowmen just on the blog today for me. :)

I used the October Afternoon Holiday Style paper pad again to create this card, it has more antique colors so I cut my snowmen out of a cream card stock rather than white.  I used antique linen distress ink to ink the edges of my snowflake paper after cutting it out with a stitched rectangle die.

I used a white gel pen to color in parts of the snowmen's accessories that were die cut from pattern paper.  I embossed the sentiment so it would stand out more on the red pattern paper and added some start dust stickles to the hearts for a little sparkle.

On another note, have you seen Ellen Hutson's newly redesigned website, it's fantastic. I'm trying out their new linking tool with my supplies below.

Joy to the World

Today I have a great holiday card to share.  I dug out my old October Afternoon Holiday Style paper and found this great holly pattern to inspire my card.

I used the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies to cut my holly panel and I inked the edges with Antique Linen distress ink to give it a more antique look then I matted it with dark red card stock on a cream colored card base.  I used the new stitched circle dies to cut some cream card stock for my sentiment.

For the sentiment I used the Brushstroke Joy die from Essentials by Ellen to cut some metallic shimmery red paper I had in my stash.  I stamped the rest of the sentiment in Delicata gold ink on black yardstick and layered it under the die cut with some thin foam squares. I finished it off with a few clear iridescent sequins.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Scripty Love & Stitched Circles

I'm back for the final day of Lawn Fawn December Inspiration/Release Week. Today we are featuring some new dies, stitched circles (which I have been wanting for awhile) and scripty love.

My first card features both circles and scripty love dies.  I cut a panel of the Snowboots 12x12 paper, I just love the bokeh look of this pattern and I thought it went perfectly with the circle die cuts.

I cut the circles from a variety of purple card stock and then layered a pink banner over top for my scripty love die cut to set on.  I added stickles to the edges of all the circles and the sentiment.

My second project is a Valentine's goodie bag. I cut the goodie bag from a polka dot card stock and used the stitched scallop border to trim out the top of the bag.

I created a little festive wand to decorate my goodie bag with stitched circle die cut and scalloped circle die cut in matching card stock colors.  I stamped the "you" with Claire's ABCs.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog today for more projects and a giveaway! All new goodies will be available for purchase tomorrow December 11.
