Dear Santa, Quickie Tag

Hello! We are nearing the end of the A Blog Named Hero's Dear Santa holiday celebration.  This week we are making Quickie projects, quick projects to brighten your holidays.  I used some Lawn Fawn and Hero Arts products to create this quick tag.

I cut the tag with the Puffy Star Stackables Lawn Cuts.  The sentiment is from the Holiday Sayings set from Hero Arts, I head embossed it with platinum sparkle embossing powder.  I then decorated with sequins and finished of with some peppermint lawn trimmings.

You're A Hoot

Hello! Happy Black Friday…I guess that might as well be a holiday since every store in America seems to celebrate it right? :) Lawn Fawn is having a sale this weekend with free shipping on all orders and a free mini stamp set with orders $35 or more.  I made this cutie with that free mini set.  Happy Shopping!

Thankful for You

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the US.  Today we celebrate all the things we are thankful for while spend time with our friends and family.  So I thought I would share a card I made a few weeks ago that was appropriate for the holiday. :)

Thank you all for reading my blog and for your always encouraging, supportive and kind comments.  I am very thankful for the crafting community I have found through blogging and all the friends I have made.  I'm thankful for you all. <3

Neat & Tangled November Release: Me + You

Hi! Back again today with another new release set from Neat & Tangled.  Today's featured set from the new release is Me + You. I made two cards to share today, one using this set as intended and the other switching it up a little. :)

Now to switch it up a little...because that's my favorite thing to do, stretch the stamps!

I'm sure you may have see this idea done before but I personally never had the right shape stamp to do it myself.  But now I do! I used shadow inks that would blend when overlapped.  This would also be cool with inks that blended to a totally different color when overlapped.  I guess I will have to give that a try next.

Be sure to stop on over at the Neat & Tangled blog for more projects featuring this set!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Mason Jar Luminary

Hello! Today I'm sharing a project as part of the Dear Santa holiday even still going on at A Blog Named Hero.  This week they are focusing on gifts!  I made this mason jar luminary using some Neat & Tangled stamps and vellum.

I did all my stamping on the inside of the vellum, that allows any splotchiness to look smooth on the outside.  Be sure to allow plenty of time for the stamping on the vellum to dry before trying to roll it up and put it in the jar.  I used vellum adhesive to glue the edges together to keep it rolled up in the jar.

I had to use a votive candle in my jar but I would recommend using an electric candle so that the vellum does not get too hot.  I will replace my candle with a fake one to use it, I just used the candle for my photo.

Let it Snow....some Glitter!

Hello! Today I have two more projects using Lawn Fawn and thermoweb products.  I also have a video over on the Lawn Fawn Blog so be sure to stop over there and check it out.  Here are my clean and simple and super sparkly cards for today!

Check out the video on how I made these on the Lawn Fawn Blog or on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel.  Also be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog and Thermoweb for more projects all week long.

Neat & Tangled November Release: On The Edge

It's time for another great Neat & Tangled release! Today we are featuring the new set On the Edge. This set has four bold solid edging images.  I made two cards with these stamps to share with you today.

For this card I stamped the scalloped edge in different ink colors overlapping them from the lightest to the darkest.  I then stamped the solid stripe in black at the very top edge. I used the sentiment from Just for You. I masked off the black stripe and covered it with black stickles for some sparkle as well.

For this card I stamped on craft but cut one of the zig zags out so I could layer them and get some dimension.  Be sure to check out the Neat & Tangled blog for more projects using this new set.

Thanks for visiting me today! :)
