Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Winter Gifts and Tag You're It Dies

I'm back for the last day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week for this month. Today we are featuring the new stamp set Winter Gifts and the new lawn cuts dies Tag You're It.  These dies can work on their own or the coordinate with the tags in the Winter Gifts set.  Here is the card I created using these fab new goodies.

I used the fish tail tag to create a banner across my card.  I white embossed the tags on the black chalkboard paper from the Peace Joy Love collection.  Then I used Cole's ABCs dies to cut each letter out of the tag.  I used foam adhesive to add the red paper behind the tags so that the front panels stood off the red color.  I used more papers from Peach Joy Love to create the card base and stamped the snowflakes from Winter Gifts on the green paper with Versamark with copper Perfect Pearls layered on top.  I used the peppermint lawn trimmings twine to thread through my banner pieces.

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Peace Love Joy Stamps

Hi! Today Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with Peace Joy Love stamps!  This set matches the images in the Peace Love Joy collection and is so cute!

I decided to go clean and simple with this design.  I curved the string of light stamp on a clear block to get the swag look.  I colored in the lights with stickles to make them sparkle and added some small dots of stardust stickler for some sparkly snow.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog to see more projects using this set.

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Peace Joy Love Collection

Hello again, I'm back for another day of Lawn Fawn inspiration week.  Today we are featuring the new holiday themed paper collection Peace Joy Love.  I love the patterns and colors of this collection.

I used one of the circle stackable lawn cuts dies to cut out the "Be Merry" tag from the "Kris" 12x12 sheet. I used the journaling card die to cut my panel from the green pattern in the petite paper pack.  I also cut multiple journaling cards from red cardstock and layered them together to make the panel thicker, more like a chipboard thickness with a red core.  I used the banner shape included in the journaling card die set to die cut the banners coming out from behind the panel from various patterns in the petite paper pack.  Finally I embellished with lawn trimmings twine in silver sparkle and mistletoe and some sequins from the Peace Joy Love mixed sequin pack.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog for more projects with this new holiday paper collection.

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Stitched Journaling Card & Cole's ABCs

Back for day two of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!  Today we are featuring some of the new stand alone dies, the Stitched Journaling Card and Cole's ABCs.

Cole's is great for bold sentiments or titles on layouts.  I used them to make this thank you card...along with some other thank you stamps from Many Thanks and freebies that come with Lawn Fawn orders.

For my Journaling card project I changed it up and created some gift card holders/pockets.  Journaling cards aren't just for scrapbooking :).

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more projects using these dies!

Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Trim the Tree

Hello! I can't believe it is Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week again! Today we are featuring the new set Trim the Tree.  This set has matching dies that will cut out almost every single image in this set.

I made this card before I had the matching dies in my hot little hands.  I stamped the images and built my tree on watercolor paper and heat embossed it.  I colored the tree with distress markers and a water brush.  The decorations on the tree are stamped with metallic pigment inks.  I used the Woodgrain backdrops set to decorate the kraft panel.  I also stamped the brown card base with elements from the set using brown ink for a tone on tone effect.  I finished the card off by embellishing with peppermint lawn trimmings twine.

Neat & Tangled September Release: Merry & Bright

It's the final day of the Neat & Tangled new release.  Today we are featuring the set Merry & Bright. This is a Christmas set but I went in a non-Christmas direction with my card.

I used the smaller open and solid circles to create a "string of lights" design.  I remember looking at wedding invitations with this kind of design a couple years ago when I was planning my wedding.

Check out the Neat & Tangled blog for more projects with this set.  Also all the new set are avaliable for purchase starting today! Check them out at the Neat & Tangled shop!

Neat & Tangled September Release: Just for You

Hi, back with another day of Neat & Tangled's September Release.  Today we are featuring the set Just For you, a great birthday themed set.  I made two cards, both with the same bright and happy color scheme.

The second card is basically one layer, if you don't count the sequins.  I like how the shadow inks of the balloons overlap and create the look that they balloons are translucent.  I used a stamp from On the Strip to accent the bottom which was the finishing touch in my opinion.

Be sure to check out other projects using this set on the Neat & Tangled blog and comment there for a chance to win.

Happy Birthday Kelly Marie!

It's an online Surprise Birthday Party for one of the sweetest people I know, Kelly Marie Alvarez! The Lawn Fawn Design Team has gathered up some other fawnie helpers to join in our blog hop to celebrate Kelly's special day.  You should be arriving from Audrey's blog.

The inspiration for this card was a button I have that came from a comic book convention.  It's a fat Batman holding up two cupcakes with his mouth wide open and icing all over it... I imagine him saying "CUPCAKES!!!" while on a sugar high.  Anyway I think it's cute and funny, and the Yeti reminded me of the fat Batman.  Kelly I hope you enjoy your Birthday Blog Hop and I hope you have a Fabulous day, because you totally deserve it!

The next stop on the hop is Nicole.

If you want to start from the beginning or get lost at anytime you can find the full list of hop participants at Tiffany's Blog.

Lawn Fawn & Core'dinations Halloween

Hello, this week the Lawn Fawn team is playing with some awesome Core'dinations goodies.  Big thanks to Core'dinations for sending us lots of fun product to play with.

For my card I used some purple from the Graphic 45 Lights collection and dry embossed it with an embossing folder.  Then I used the Sand It Gadget to distress the raised dot pattern.  I also used a few tags from the Core'dinations Bright assorted tags set to create the background for my images.  I tore the bottom edge of each tag and distressed the edges with the Sand It Gadget as well.  I used some Tim Holtz tinsel twine in silver and orange and silver sparkle Lawn Trimmings twine to decorate my tags.
