Hello little Olivia!  Today we are celebrating the birth of little Olivia and surprising our friend Linda with this little hop!  Thanks so much for joining us.  Linda we are excited that your little bundle of joy is now here and hope that you enjoy this blog hop just for you.  You should have arrived from Mary Dawn's blog.

I had fun making this card.  I used Lawn Fawn's Plus One set and Riley's ABCs to create my own fun sentiment. The next person on this hop is the talented Danielle.  Happy Hopping!

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week: Our Friendship Grows

Hello Friends!
Today's the last day of Lawn Fawn's August Inspiration Week.  Today we are featuring Our Friendship Grows, a new set with some cute sunflowers that I just can't stop watercoloring...seriously.  So I created these little mini cards using this set...and yet again Woodgrain backdrops...yes, I might have a problem.  On to the cards!

I stamped the sunflowers in Versafine black ink and embossed with clear embossing on watercolor paper.  I used my distress makers and water brush to color the images then I used the coordination Lawn Cuts dies to cut the flowers out.  The backgrounds I created with distress inks on white card stock.  I picked two colors for each card, one lighter and one darker.  I blended the lighter color onto the paper with the blending tool then stamped the woodgrain stamp using the darker color.  I white embossed the sentiments on some cards and embellished with hot cocoa twine on the others.  I also added a little wink of stella glitter on each flower petal.  All of these together would make a cute little set of cards to give as a gift.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for other projects with this great fall set!

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week: Stitched Leaves & Woodgrain Backdrops

Back again as Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues! It's a big week! :) Today we are featuring the new Stitched Leaves  Lawn Cuts (which are so Awesome!) and the new Woodgrain Backdrops set (which I have actually shown everyday I'm pretty sure).

For my first card I cut the Stitched Leaves from white cardstock then used my Dylusions Ink sprays to color them in various fall colors.  The brown panel is cut with the new Journaling Card die and stamped using the Woodgrain Backdrops and Antique Bronze Distress Paint.  I covered the main leaf with glitter from the Wink of Stella pen to make it shine as the center piece.  This card also features a sentiment from the Into the Woods set and new Gold sparkle Lawn Trimmings twine.

This card not only features the main Woodgrain backdrop stamp but I also used some of the other elements in that set.  The little sentiments fit in the large heart and are super cute used as a "carving" into the tree.  I used the bold zig zag from Chevron Backdrops in Wet Cement shadow ink to create the background of the card.  I embellished with the new hot cocoa Lawn Trimmings and Into The Woods sequins.

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week: Into The Woods Stamps & So Thankful Dies

Hi Friends!
Back again for another day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week.  Today we are focusing on the new Into the Woods Stamp set and new dies to coordinate with the existing So Thankful mini set.

These cute bookmarks are the project I designed for one of our Make & Takes at CHA this summer.  I think they turned out so sweet.  The animals in this set are just too cute and I love the solid word bubbles and other elements.  The backgrounds are stamped with the new Woodgrain Backdrops stamp and the pattern paper behind it is the new Into The Woods paper collection.  I also used the new Lawn Trimmings twines and stitched leaves die cuts to create the "tassel" part of the bookmark.

I love the pumpkins in the So Thankful mini set and now there are matching dies! I made this card using all the new dies in that set.

I think it's pretty cool that you can even cut out the little curly cue vine.  I created the brown panel by cutting it out with the new Stitched Journaling Card die and stamping it with the Woodgrain Backdrop stamp.  By the way there seems to be a woodgrain theme with all my projects this week.  :)

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week: Happy Feast & Trick or Treat

Hello, it's day three of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week.  Today we are featuring two new mini sets, Happy Feast and Trick or Treat.

I love the new Trick or Treat mini set, the large sentiment and coordinating images are perfect for quick Halloween projects.

I created the "pattern paper" look with the candy corn images along the bottom and colored them with copic markers.  I white heat embossed the sentiment on orange cardstock and cut it out with one of the circle stackables.  I also used the coordinating scallop circle stackable die to cut black cardstock to layer behind.  The bats I colored and cut out and covered in Wink of Stella glitter for some shine.  I adhered them down with only a glue dot in the center so that the wings could be bent up to look like they are flying.  My favorite part is the google eyes on the bats. The purple glitter stripe is American Crafts glitter tape and I found some matching purple gems in my stash to finish it off.

Happy Feast is a great half size set for the Thanksgiving holiday, but it can be used all year long.  I used it to create a card that would be great for Valentine's Day or any day of the year.

I white heat embossed the new Woodgrain Backdrops on white cardstock for the background creating a cool texture.  I stamped the cute little spoon and fork in Versafine black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I used Brushed Pewter Distress paint to color my images.  I just put some paint on my craft sheet and used a paint brush to pick it up and color in the images.  I used peppermint Lawn Trimmings twine to frame my image and cut the hearts out of various colors of cardstock with the Lawn Cuts hearts dies.  I added some shine to my heard embellishments with the Wink of Stella pen.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog today for more projects with these two sets and some videos by Kelly.  She is having a giveaway too so be sure to comment over there!

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week: Into the Wood Collection

Back again today for Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week.  Today we are featuring the new Into The Woods collection.  I just love this new fall paper and embellishment collection, fun colors and patterns!

I decided to try my hand at something a little different and decorated this shadow box from 7 gypsies with this new paper line.

I used a mixture of 12x12 papers and 6x6 papers to create my project.  The images are stamped in rich cocoa memento ink and colored with copic makers.  I stamped edges of the frame with the woodgrain backdrops stamp using antique bronze distress paint.  I used the new hot cocoa Lawn Trimmings twine to make the bow at the top and the coordinating mixed sequins and flair Lawn Ornaments to embellish.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog to see more projects with Into the Woods, I just love this paper line!

Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week: Critters In Costume

It's Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Yes the blog has been quiet for weeks but it's because I have been busy working on projects with all these new Lawn Fawn products.  And all the new products will be available for purchase at the end of release week!! Woo hoo!

Today we are featuring Critters in Costume, the newest and possibly the cutest installment in the Lawn Fawn critter line.

I made a comic book style card with different panels.  I colored all the panel backgrounds with distress inks and colored all the images with copics.  The matching dies that go with this stamp set make cutting the images out very easy and that white border really makes the images stand out against the backgrounds.  I'll be honest I really love how this one turned out!

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see more projects from the design team with this cute set and I know that Kelly is giving away a set so be sure to leave a comment there for a chance to win.

10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday Blog Hop

Today I am hopping along and celebrating the birthday of my sweet friend Paulina's challenge the 10 minute craft dash! You should be arriving from Betty J's blog.  If you did not arrive from there and want to start at the beginning you can visit Pretty Pink Posh to see the entire list of hop participants.

The theme of this craft dash is of course birthday! I struggle with quick crafting, because I like to sit and contemplate my designs, like the placement of sequins, so this was a challenge indeed.  It was down to the wire!

I finished in 9 mins and 53 seconds.  I did have to pause at the beginning because as soon as I started my timer my Dad called! HA! I thought the sequins were going to be the death of me when I couldn't find my tweezers but I just went for it anyway. :)

There are some great prizes you could win for hopping along with us and commenting on the participating blogs.  Also please play long with the challenge at Pretty Pink Posh and you could win the big Grand Prize.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Next on the hop is Dyane Fogleboch!
