LOVE you

Happy Friday!

Today I have a simple little card to share featuring the newest Lawn Fawn alpha set, Quinn.'s Capitals.

I did some simple copic coloring on this card with some stickles accents.  Very simple and cute!

Have an amazing weekend!

Thank You Doilies

Today I have a card that I made awhile ago for the Stamping Royalty contest.  This is a fun idea to stretch your stamps too. :)

I used snowflakes from Lawn Fawn's Frosties set and double stamped them to create these doilies.  I colored in some of the openings with some colored signo gel pens.  I splattered some white mist on the background for some added texture to the composition.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great Wednesday!

I'm back again today with another card made for a publication call that wasn't picked.  I don't want to call it rejected because I still like it. :)

I love this stamp set with the stitched sentiments.  They look great stamped out in colors and I think they would be great colored in as well.  This card is pretty simple.  I stamped the background with the "cheerio" stamp in rainbow colors on a diagonal and the main sentiment with staz-on ink on vellum.

Thanks for stopping by!

Shine Brightly

So I have quite the stack of "reject" cards sitting on my desk and I figured it was time to share them...because despite being rejected for publication I think they are pretty awesome.  :)

Who wouldn't want a light bulb powdered by fireflies, or as we call them where I bugs.  The background is a mixture of two background stamps using shadow ink. Where the yellow overlaps the pink it creates a nice softening effect.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello Neon!

I never thought I would jump on the neon train but I got a few neon inks and like them.  I also never thought I would be much into mists but they have grown on me too...although I like splattering them more than spraying them however.  So neon mists...well yes I decided I wanted those too, but  after a little tutorial by my fellow Lawn Fawn Design Team member Melissa I decided to save some money and make my own.  I used some inexpensive neon acrylic paint and some water and shook well.

I made this fun card for the Gallery Idol auditions and really like how it turned out.

I used purple and blue neon inks to stamp the big word bubble and I double stamped the letters.  I splattered my neon mists across the background then popped up the purple word bubble on top with foam adhesive and accented the letters with stardust stickles.  The black card base frames it nicely.  Neon splatter, now that is a flash back to the 80's for sure.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Dad, You Rock!

Happy Father's Day!

I made a fun card today that I wanted to share.  I saw a gift bag recently with a graphic on where the word "DAD" was adorned with some dad-like items such as a neck tie and belt.  So I decided to play around and make my own version.

I drew out the letters on some white cardstock and cut them out.  I stamped the glasses, bowtie and mustache on different pattern papers with versamark and then clear embossed them.  I colored over top the embossing with black then cut them out leaving a black outline.  Another fun thing to note, the little eyebrows, I stamped with an exclamation point (without the dot inked) clever huh?

Thanks for stopping by today!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Stackables Lawn Cuts

Welcome back to the final day of June Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week.  Today I am featuring the new circle and scalloped circle stackables lawn cuts.  I used the two shapes together to create these fun and simple pencil toppers.

I used a selection of patterns from the Pink Lemonade paper pack that I thought went well together.  As you can see the circles and scalloped circles stack perfectly together.  I die cut one of the hearts, stars and the letter "k" using some other Lawn Cuts and popped up the circle with foam adhesive to create some dimension.  I stamped the "k" inside the opening before raising the circle up for better stamping.  I think these would make fun party favors don't you?  By the way I choose to stamp a "k" for Kelly since I think the letter "c" for Chari is a little boring.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Quinn's Capitals ABCs

It's day three of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and we today we are featuring Quinn's Capitals.

I picked out some patterns from the Pink Lemonade paper pad, stamped the letters and cut them out.  I arranged the letters and enhanced them with stickles.  I hand drew the pink frame with a pink gel pen and scattered around some elements to finish off the card.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Admit One Dies

Back for day two of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today I'm making a card with the new Lawn Cuts dies that match the not as new Admit One set.

As cute as this little carousel is I would rather not fussy cut around it if I don't have to, and now I don't! I stamped the carousel and the tickets on white card stock and colored them with copics then used the lawn cuts dies to cut them out.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog for more projects by the Design Team.

Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week: Happy 4th

It time again for another Lawn Fawn Inspiration week.  Today we are featuring Happy 4th!  This set is meant for celebrating Independence Day here in the US but I think the fireworks can work any celebratory occasion.  I did make a traditional red, white and blue creation this time. :)

I embossed the fireworks and some solid stars with platinum sparkle WOW embossing powder.  The stars in the center are white embossed on red paper with some stardust stickles in the middle.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog to see more projects from the Design Team.

I {heart} you...two

Did you miss me? I haven't posted in awhile...but that ends today!  So I made an I {heart} you card a long time ago (you can see it HERE) so this is I {heart} you episode two I suppose.

This time I got to use the Quinn's ABCs dies instead of having to cut the letters out by hand.  And I paired Quinn's with Teri's With Flair set from Technique Tuesday...I love this little set by the way.  I had fun organizing my little collage on this card.

Thanks for stopping by, sorry I've been absent. :)
