Operation Write Home

Today Lawn Fawn is participating in Operation Write Home's Memorial Day blog hop! Here is the card I made for today's hop.

I just got some new nesting hexagon dies and had fun breaking them in with this card. I used one of the smaller sizes to cut hexagons from the Bright Side Petite Paper Pack and arrange them on matching Whirlpool Bazzill cardstock. (HERE is a link to the Bazzill Matchmaker colors for the Bright Side papers) The teeny tiny background hearts are stamped with the new Toffee Crunch Memento ink color which has a perfect tone on tone look on kraft paper. I used a new Lawn Fawn stamp on this card as well! Sneaky sneaky!!!! :)  I love this new set and I think you all will too!

Visit the Lawn Fawn blog to participate in the OWH hop (I believe Kelly has a giveaway!).

  1. I like how you stamped the kraft paper with the hearts. I also like the hexagon dies you used. Really like the sentiment. Nice choice of colors.

  2. very cute. I like the hexagons in the background!

  3. So cute! I love the hexagons! I need to get some dies like that! I'm excited to see the new set you used!

  4. Perfect for OWH! Love your take on the sketch and the hexagons, I was making a card with hexagons and cuting them by hand... ugh... Never finished lol!
Love your color combo too, looks great!

Thanks for taking the time to brighten my day and leave a comment! I hope your day is bright too :)
